We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker specializing in Case Management to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Spokane, WA. This travel position offers a 13-week contract, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and significantly impact patient care.
Job Details
- Location: Spokane, WA
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour days, Friday to Monday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Shifts per Week: 4
- Setting: 388 bed Level 3 Trauma Center
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2600 - $2790
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting, or 1 year in acute care plus 1 year in hospice, home health, or elderly care
- Master of Social Work (MSW) and LICSW or LSWAIC certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Skills in drug & alcohol screening (SBIRT), mental health evaluations (SAFE-T), capacity evaluations, behavior plans, and discharge planning
- Conduct mental health evaluations and provide behavioral health referrals
- Assist with telepsych evaluations and end-of-life conversations
- Manage discharge planning and difficult placements
- Work with Medicaid/Medicare and insurance authorizations
- Provide coverage for Medical Surgical, ICU, Mother Baby, Labor and Delivery, and ER on weekends
- Floating to Valley as needed
