Experience
- Three-Five years of experience in combined acute care hospital and physician practice/clinic- based coding
- Two years of experience in teaching coding and documentation compliance concepts to students, interns, staff, and clinicians
- Advanced knowledge and experience in interpreting and applying federal/government regulations to ensure coding and documentation compliance
- Teaching or instructional design certificate
